Cash on Delivery (COD) Advance Payment & Cancellation Policy

At Bintraa, a brand owned and operated by Crawalk Parental Private Limited, we offer Cash on Delivery (COD) for eligible orders. To reduce fraudulent orders and ensure smooth order processing, a partial advance payment is required for all COD purchases.
By placing a Cash on Delivery (COD) order with Bintraa, you agree to the terms of this policy.

2. COD Advance Payment
To confirm every Cash on Delivery (COD) order:
- 20% of the total order value must be paid in advance at the time of placing the order.
- The remaining 80% of the order value must be paid at the time of delivery.
Bintraa reserves the right to refuse or cancel any COD order if the required advance payment is not successfully received.
3. Cancellation Before Shipment
If a COD order is cancelled before it has been packed or shipped, the customer will receive a 100% refund of the 20% advance payment.
Refunds will be processed after the cancellation request has been verified and approved.
4. Cancellation After Shipment or Delivery Attempt
If any of the following occurs:
- The order is cancelled after shipment.
- The customer refuses to accept the delivery.
- The shipment is returned after one or more unsuccessful delivery attempts (Return to Origin – RTO).
- The customer provides an incorrect or incomplete delivery address leading to an RTO.
Then:
- 50% of the advance payment will be refunded.
- The remaining 50% of the advance payment will be retained by Bintraa to recover operational expenses incurred during order fulfilment.
These expenses may include, but are not limited to:
- Forward shipping charges.
- Return shipping (RTO) charges.
- Packaging and handling costs.
- Payment gateway processing charges.
- Warehousing, order processing, and administrative expenses.
5. Refund Timeline
Eligible refunds will be processed within 3–5 working days after the cancellation request has been approved.
Refunds will be issued through:
- The original payment method used for the advance payment; or
- Bank Transfer, where applicable.
The actual credit timeline may vary depending on the customer's bank or payment service provider.
6. Fraud Prevention
Bintraa reserves the right to:
- Restrict or disable Cash on Delivery (COD) for customers with repeated order cancellations or refusals.
- Require full prepaid payment for future orders.
- Cancel suspicious or fraudulent orders without prior notice.
7. Policy Updates
Bintraa reserves the right to amend, modify, or update this COD Advance Payment & Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes shall become effective immediately upon publication on our website.
